almost daily and decided to become one of them. Fr. Ben was

several parishes in Massachusetts and in Seat Pleasant, Maryland,
followed by five and a half years in the Bahamas. Then, he taught

two more years at Holy Name of Mary Parish in San Dimas, California.
Below, Fr. Ben describes his work in the C.I.M.
Here in Artesia, I am involved in the RCIA
and scripture study at St. Anthony parish. I celebrate Mass, in
rotation with Paul and Richard, at our five churches in Artesia and
the Pecos Valley, and twice a month at the Roswell Correctional
Center. With stole on and holy oils in my pocket, I visit people who
are confined to their homes and patients in three hospitals: our
hospital in Artesia, one in Roswell, a forty-five minute drive to
the north of us. And one in Carlsbad, about a thirty-five minute
drive to the south. |
