SEPARATE SACRAMENTAL SESSIONS: TO BE ASSIGNED

<OPTION ONE>
TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM
Grade 1 – 9

This program meets in the parish school from October to April using the traditional classroom model. Volunteer catechists teach this program. Training workshops, lesson plan schedule and teacher resource books are provided for each catechist. Classes meet on Monday (1-2) and Tuesday (3-6) afternoons from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM and Tuesday evening (7-9) from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.

<OPTION TWO>
FAMILY SUNDAY

This option will meet one Sunday a month for seven months from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Families will be dismissed to attend 11:00 AM Mass, the Family Mass. The session will connect doctrine, Catholic identity, scripture, liturgy, church and sacraments. Planned age group activities and sharing will be offered. Suggestions for family prayer and ritual celebrations are given for use in the home for the rest of the month. All ages are welcome. First Eucharist and Confirmation students attending Family Sunday will also be required to attend traditional classroom. Each family member will have a role in this program.

<OPTION THREE>
HOME STUDY
Grade 1-3-4-5-6-7

These students are taught at home using the same curriculum and lesson plan as the students who come to the traditional classroom option. Each family is provided with a student book and direction to use the curriculum. Parents have access to home study materials via the internet at harcourtreligion.com or through the religious education office.
