An Evening with Bishop Daniel Flores
On Monday evening, January 23, 2012,
prior to the start of the Provincial Council Meeting ,
Brothers of the United States Province council gathered together
for an evening with Bishop Daniel Flores .
Bishop Flores was named the sixth Bishop of the Diocese of
Brownsville, Texas, by Pope Benedict XVI in 2009. Already well
acquainted with the SSCC serving in the Diocese including
councilor Bob Charlton, the gathering gave Bishop Flores an
opportunity to meet and get to know the Provincial and the other
newly elected members of the council. Pictured above are (L to
