This Week, Our Congregation Celebrates the Anniversary of the
Death of Blessed Father Eustaquio Van Lieshout, ss.cc.,

“Blessed Father Eustaquio’s ministry can be characterized as a simple
and solid preaching that touched the heart of many people. As a
dedicated pastor he organized and preached triduums, novenas, and
retreats. He spent long hours in the confessional; he tried to give
everyone attention, especially the poor and the sick. That is why his
words “Health and
Peace” (Saúde e Paz)
summarize so well what he wished for everyone. This is an expression of
charity without limits, of much depth which marked his apostolic life.”
