Sacred Heart Church in Edinburg, Texas honored former pastor, Fr. Gerry Shanley as he celebrated his 50th anniversary of ordination. Fr. Gerry presided and preached at the Mass which was followed by a pot luck supper. Fr. Gerry is now the pastor of San Felipe de Jesus Church and Mission in Reynosa, Mexico. He provides food to the needy and is a pastor to all migrant workers who visit his parish.
