“Will you come with me?” he asked.
They looked at him with so many questions. He was older and wiser and
had told them his story spanning a hundred years. “I see a star and I am
going to follow it. Will you come with me?” he asked. They thought he
was crazy and exclaimed, “But it’s just a star. How can you follow a
star?” He replied, “It isn’t just any star. It is a vision made of
dreams; it is a new dream made of history’s lessons; it is a promise.”
Some were interested, but laughed because they were already tired from a
long journey. Others were interested but were too comfortable to move.
But some, as old as they were, were willing to go with him, while the
younger, newer and bolder were even more eager to follow. With the
star’s light reflecting in his aged eyes and the burning of its radiance
in his heart, he said, “I see this star as all the newness that can be
for us. I don’t know how much of the journey I am able to make, but you
can go father than we have ever dared.”
As he moved forward, he turned, smiled and asked,
“Are you coming?”
Thank you for all you do.
God Bless and Love,
